Disney+ has shared a new introduction sequence to Black Panther in tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.
The traditional Marvel Studios logo in the introduction credits is normally filled up with stars across the MCU. This time, the letters are filled by the appearance of Chadwick Boseman to honor “the King,” while the introduction includes snippets of him from Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Disney CEO Bob Iger hinted in a tweet on 28 November that a new tribute was arriving. “To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts,” he wrote.
See the new credits, which have been created to mark what could have been Boseman’s 44th birthday, below.
