Cadbury’s Advent Calendar Has Odd Message That Is Not Appropriate In COVID Era

Cadbury UK fans have found a rather awkward message behind one of the doors of the advent calendars, The message, which is found behind the fourth door of the Cadbury annual advent calendar, read “Give hugs at Christmas.”
The error did not go down too well among shoppers especially when hugs have been discouraged due to the coronavirus pandemic.
England’s chief medical officer professor Chris Whitty has advised Brits not to hug elderly relatives at Christmas to prevent the virus from spreading to them.
Shoppers joked about the error on Twitter, with one user wittily writting, “Chris Whitty said don’t, Cadburys.” Another user played along, saying, “Not this year Cadbury.”
“Day 4 of my advent calendar. Not sure this is good advice at the moment Mr Cadbury,” another fan tweeted together with a puzzled emoji.
