Microsoft’s Xmas Ad Stars Dog Who Finally Tries Products His Humans Obsess Over

Microsoft has unveiled a new festive advertisement featuring a dog to tell a story about its products. The spot, Find Your Joy, follows a dog named Rufus, who attempts to get the attention of his family members.
First, he walks to a teenage boy playing Halo Infinite, hoping to get a pat but to no avail. After being ignored, Rufus heads to his human mom who is busy in a Microsoft Teams meeting. However, she stops for a bit to give him a pat on the head.
Rufus later finds his other two human family members, who are engrossed in playing Minecraft and Microsoft Flight.
Feeling dejected, Rufus looks out of the window and sees the neighbor’s dog, Sam. He understands that Sam might be in the same plight as him. Rufus then snoozes off and travels into his dream world with his new buddy.
In this space, Rufus is the main hero, who can fly through the skies with Sam in Microsoft’s Flight Simulator. He also runs into the realm of Minecraft, where he plays with Sam. Rufus also meets his other four-legged friends via a video call on Microsoft Teams.
Towards the end, Rufus and his furry friend step into the virtual land of Halo, and retrieves a grenade thrown by the in-game character. The commercial finally ends with the message: “This holiday, find your joy.”
