Disney World is interestingly responding to theme park visitors who have attempted to remove their masks on rides by digitally altering their photos.
Even though it is a requirement to wear face masks at all times when visiting the theme park, the company has found that some individuals have refused to comply with this rule. According to WDW News Today, Disney World will photoshop digital coverings onto the faces of reckless individuals.
The publication shared an edited image, taken at the Animal Kingdom ride, of a parkgoer whose face was plastered with a digital msak.
Disney World previously enforced a rule prohibiting riders from purchasing photos if the pictures showed them without their masks on. This meant that visitors who rode alongside defiant riders were not able to purchase the photos too.
Disney World has since reevaluated its rule. Photos that show individuals without their masks will require “additional processing,” it states. These edited photos will also take some time to appear on the Disney World app.
Some Disney fans have called it a “brilliant” idea, but others think Disney World should have removed reckless people off rides as others would be at risk of COVID-19.

Brilliant idea. So the other passengers in the ride vehicle that are actually following the rules aren’t penalized for the actions of some.

Why? I understand you are supposed to keep your mask on throughout the ride, but if it’s off, is this digital mask necessary? 😂 This has gotten ridiculous.

They should just kick the person out for breaking the rules.

This is stupid! It doesn't discourage you at all from not wearing a mask now because they slap one on your face and give you the picture! Why are they doing this?! Stupid decisions lately. Everyone is going to rip their mask off now bc why not
