Lacoste has teamed up with French advertising company BETC to bring some good to a rough year. The duo have set up an operation for Apprentis d’Auteuil, a French association that has been working to educate, train and integrate young individuals socially and professionally since 1866.
Between 14 and 20 December, customers who have ordered from Lacoste might notice that their packages will be shipped with a delivery slip for Apprentis d’ Auteuil. The delivery slips invite consumers to send one or more items of clothing to the organization from any brand, free of charge.
According to Lacoste’s EVP branding and marketing, Catherine Spindler, the Lacoste Foundation has been involved with the association by supporting its program for the integration of young people through sport.
“With Give for Good, we are continuing our commitment alongside this association to support the most vulnerable,” Spindler explained.
BETC creative directors Aurélie Scalabre and Olivier Aumard added, “After a hectic 2020 and end-of-year celebrations that will be even more difficult for some, we wanted to add a gesture of solidarity to Lacoste online orders during one of the most active weeks in e-commerce.”
