Calling all kids, IKEA London is hiring a ‘Chief Play Officer’ to test out all its new toys, and the lucky one who gets the role gets to keep them all.
The flatpack company is looking to hire a new member of staff aged between four and 12. The new Chief Play Officer will be in charge of testing, reviewing and giving feedback about the new toys before they go on sale to the public. As a bonus, they will get to keep the toys they review.
Recent launches include the BYGGLEK range, IKEA’s playful storage collaboration with LEGO; and the JATTELIK collection, which features stuffed dinosaurs and bedroom accessories.
“Do your kids love play and adventure? Do they spend hours turning everyday objects into plaything?” the job description reads. “Have they transformed your sheets and chairs into magical castles and dens or your mattress into a trampoline?”
Interested applicants can apply for the role here.
