Kia Unveils ‘Unbroken’ Logo & Slogan In Futuristic Pyrotechnic Show With Drones

Kia has revealed its new logo design and a global brand slogan as part of its ambition to “establish a leadership position in the future mobility industry.”
The new logo, which is described as a “rhythmical, unbroken line,” is said to resemble a handwritten signature. It also aims to demonstrate “confidence” and “rising ambitions for the brand.”
“Kia’s new logo represents the company’s commitment to becoming an icon for change and innovation,” said Ho Sung Song, Kia’s President and CEO. “The automotive industry is experiencing a period of rapid transformation, and Kia is proactively shaping and adapting to these changes. Our new logo represents our desire to inspire customers as their mobility needs evolve, and for our employees to rise to the challenges we face in a fast-changing industry.”
The new emblem was unveiled during a pyrotechnic display in Incheon, South Korea, with drones launching hundreds of synchronized fireworks.
The logo change is accompanied with a new slogan to replace the old one that read, “The Power to surprise.” The new tagline, “Movement that inspires,” was previously discovered on the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS) website. The new phrase aims to show the company’s gradual shift away from budget offerings.
