M&M’s has rolled out ‘Messages’ packs with 28 different sayings, and each features curated Spotify playlists.
The Messages packs are available in four flavors—Milk Chocolate, Caramel, Peanut, and Peanut Butter. Some of the slogans printed on the wrappers include, “Slay Girl,” “Have a great day pretending to do work,” “Emotional support candy, “ and “I know you didn’t invite me, but I brought chocolate.”
The packaging is also paired with Spotify playlists to provide you with the most immersive snacking experience you’re going to get. The messages, which are meant to evoke sentiments the M&M’s characters might have, also correspond to songs to punctuate the messages. For examples, the phrase “Slay Girl,” will be paired with “a playlist filled with powerful female artists,” per the press release.
A Spotify code is also printed on each pack leading to the curated playlist. To use the code, simply open the Spotify app and tap on the search icon at the bottom. Then, select the camera icon on the right side of the search bar at the top of your screen. Scan the code on the pack and the playlist will pop up on your app.
Mars Wrigley’s senior brand director, Allison Miazga-Bedrick, said, “Incorporating music into M&M’s Messages packs [is] a new way for us to help fans share their true selves and connect with others, which helps us live our purpose of better moments and more smiles.”
M&M’s Messages packs are available to purchase in stores and online.
