Amazon previously made headlines after it revealed its redesigned app icon.
While the icon was meant to resemble Amazon’s delivery boxes box—including the blue tape and the signature smile—social media users claimed the face in the graphic bore a resemblance to notorious German dictator Adolf Hitler.
In response to the backlash, Amazon updated the imagery. Instead of featuring square-cut blue tape with ragged edges, the company made a small tweak showcasing the tape with a folded corner.
Amazon’s considerate edit shows that the company is indeed listening to its audience.
