With COVID-19 forcing all events to either go virtual or get canceled, Adobe decided to open the much-anticipated Adobe MAX Conference to all for free in 2020, inviting anyone around the world who is interested in honing their craft or a career switch to learn from speakers like photographer Annie Leibovitz and filmmaker Ava DuVernay. As a result, the company revealed that the event became the “world’s biggest creativity conference ever.”
Good news to those who wish to discover more: the company has just announced that Adobe MAX 2021 will also be hosted online and be “totally free.” For context, before the pandemic, the creativity conference was always closed-door, with tickets normally starting at US$1,295 per head.
A new blog post by Elissa Scott, Senior Event Marketing Manager for Creative Cloud for Design at Adobe, confirms that the event will run for three days, from October 26 to October 28. Its sessions will cover “all the latest tools and updates, tips and tricks to take your work to the next level, and everything you need to gain inspiration and fuel your creative fire,” as well as feature “inspiring speakers and ideas.”
The company admits that it would be hard to top 2020’s Adobe MAX, but “the MAX team is hard at work” with the next one. “We can’t wait to share everything we have in store,” Scott shared.
For more updates about the event, interested attendees might wish to join the MAX mailing list.
