Never judge Baby Yoda by his size; the alien can seriously eat. His stomach is a bottomless pit.
In The Mandalorian series, The Child, whose real name is Grogu, could be seen sipping on soup and stealing a macaron from another child as a snack. But he can soon put that life of thievery behind him—come October, you can put him under your care, as Hasbro is releasing a ‘Galactic Snackin’ Grogu’ toy then.
Just like the character in the show, Galactic Snackin’ Grogu is going to need food. Always. He can be fed a series of foods, including a blue cookie not unlike the macaron he nabbed from the schoolkid, a tentacle soup, and a spoonful of something. Baby Yoda will respond to each food item, reacting positively to some and letting you know if a snack should go into a trash compactor.
The figure, built with adorable sounds and movements, can also recognize his favorite toy and seemingly use the Force on it.
However, snacks aren’t all The Child will need. He’ll also hold out his arms to let you know when it’s time for a hug.
The toy is now available for pre-orders on the Hasbro Pulse website for US$79.99.
