H&M is allowing its customers to rent its suit for free for 24 hours, per Business Insider.
Following a belief that a first impression is made within a second, the brand’s new campaign, created by Uncommon London and directed by Anonymous Content’s Mark Romanek, features a group of young men as they prepare for job interviews.
Images of the men getting ready are overlaid with heartfelt text messages from their mothers about how proud they are of their sons.
H&M told Business Insider that the suit-rental service allows anyone with an upcoming job interview “to make a powerful first impression.”
Customers will have a full day to use the outfits and will have to return them in a prepaid return bag to one of H&M’s dry cleaning partners. Though H&M shoppers are not responsible for any minor damages, they will have to pay the full retail price of the suit if there is any “major damage.”
