Activists Dump Cow Dung Outside White House In Protest Of Biden’s Climate Plan

In protest of president Joe Biden’s climate change plan, activists Extinction Rebellion Washington D.C dumped cow manure outside the White House.
The group announced its intention to protest on Twitter, criticizing Biden’s approach to climate change.
Biden marked Earth Day by holding a virtual climate summit where he declared the negative effects of climate change.
“You’ll be happy to learn that Extinction Rebellion plans to dump a steaming pile of s*it in front of the White House on Earth Day,” Extinction Rebellion Washington D.C said. “Biden’s 2030 emission plan is bulls**t—we’ll blast through 1.5C. Why can’t we elect a president who understands science?”
Videos and photos showed the group pushing wheelbarrows full of manure and dumping them in front of the White House. They also protested outside the White House, holding signs saying “Declare a climate emergency” and “Biden’s 2030 plan = mass death.”
The protest was carried out on the same day Biden addressed the importance of climate change and how his administration would work to improve the environment. According to The Hill, Biden plans to reduce greenhouse gas admissions by 50 to 52 percent of 2005’s levels by 2030. This is part of a bigger goal by the Biden administration, which is to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
However, climate activists are urging Biden to do more, stating that the administration should work towards reducing greenhouse admissions by at least 70 percent.
