There’ll come a time when you’ll have too many elbow bumps and air high fives. It’s weird, and possibly unheard of in the past, but you might be missing handshakes with strangers these days.
Game designer Torfi Ásgeirsson, who more often goes simply by Torfi, has thus created a free game to bring back handshakes, but in the virtual world.
A Firm Handshake lets you walk up to people to, yes, shake their hands—a gesture that was often taken for granted. Who knew we had it so good?
When you make the first move, you’ll establish a bond with the other party. You can then repeat this process and shake the hands of others.
The bizarre minigame is available to download for free on Windows, macOS, and Linux computers. Install it
here.
