Don’t you wish the food served at Disney theme parks looked more like the meals from the movies? With this newfound time indoors, you could try replicating them at home.
Gabrielle Williams, known as
@gabby.jaye on TikTok, has certainly done that. She has recreated foods shown from films, most notably those from the Disney universe, in real life—and to quote Mickey Mouse: “Oh boy!”
Her rendition of Mushu’s congee breakfast from
Mulan would be perfect, comforting grub for a sick day, while fans would be better off inhaling the real-life version of Tiana’s beignets than kiss a frog.
Cartoon meals mimicking real meals are one thing, but real-world meals as cartoon meals are another—these have “EAT ME” written all over them. With all this time at home, how about using it to boost the visual appeal of your foods? After all, the way a meal tastes is arguably
influenced by how good it looks.
Check out some of Williams’ real-world interpretations of Disney animation meals, and enjoy more of her food art over at her
TikTok and
Instagram pages.
