While the iPhone 13 isn’t scheduled to launch till September, most insiders have a good idea of what the new lineup will look like, thanks in part to the countless rumors, CAD drawings, and renderings from leakers.
MacRumors reported that it has obtained dummy models of the rumored releases, which could include an iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The mockups are often circulated in advance to case manufacturers, who race among themselves to be the first to release accessories for a new launch.
It seems that the models will remain in line with the iPhone 12 series, with not many major design changes either. For one, the sizes of each phone model will be the same, though there may be small differences in details such as thickness, according to MacRumors.
One small but significant difference is that Apple may be trimming the size of the notch on the new phones. The microphone has also been relocated to the top bezel.
Notable changes are seen in the camera designs, with new features such as Sensor-Shift Stabilization and extra improvements for the iPhone 13 Pro. The space the back camera will occupy is also expected to be larger than that of current models, with the lenses being rearranged into a new diagonal layout.
