It seems, now more than ever, that paintings by the likes of Salvador Dalí don’t all seem that strange. After all, sometimes you’d have to embrace the unknown to finally make sense of the world.
If you’re in the mood for a little whimsy, this surreal new quiz by BuzzFeed writer Audrey Engvalson might be the pick-me-up you need. Through multi-meaning, fever-dream paintings of Dalí, Octavio Ocampo, and Vladimir Kush, the test claims to share a “deep truth” about you based on the objects that catch your eye.
For instance, in Ocampo’s Forever Always visual illusion (shown below), you could be drawn to the two elderly people looking at each other. However, someone else might gravitate towards the two musicians.
Of course, this is all meant to be taken with a grain of salt, but it’s also a great excuse to admire artwork without making the trip to the museum. Take the quiz here.
