Apple’s anticipated fall events usually showcase all of its flagship products at once, from the iPhone to the MacBook and Apple Watch. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, reputed for his track record of tech leaks, predicts that three product launches will take place in the fall.
Given unexpected circumstances brought by the pandemic last year, Apple was forced to present the iPhone 12 series in October, going against its traditional September schedule. In place of 2020’s flagship iPhone event was the unveiling of new iPads, Apple Watches, and services.
While Apple seems to be more prepared now, Gurman details in his weekly Power On newsletter issue that the iPhone 13 lineup would first arrive in September, along with Apple Watches and updated AirPods.
A second event would preview a new iPad mini plus Apple services, while a third and final launch would involve Apple silicon Macs, most notably MacBook Pros.
Gurman hinted that the MacBook Pros—anticipated to include the M1X Apple silicon chip and mini-LED displays—should arrive by the second anniversary of the existing 16-inch Intel-powered MacBook Pro. That was back in November 2019.
In related news, here’s all the industry knows about what to expect from the iPhone 13 lineup.
