McDonald’s Launches ‘Saweetie Meal’ That Lets You Hack Your Own Nugget Sandwich

McDonald’s is back for another celebrity-inspired meal, following on from the widely-hyped BTS meal that saw fans rushing to secure their limited-time packaging and try out the new treats.
This time, platinum artist Saweetie, known best for her hit single ICY GRL, is teaming up with the fast-food company to introduce her favorite and usual order to fans across the nation.

The Saweetie Meal consists of a Big Mac, a four-piece McNuggets, medium fries, Sprite, BBQ sauce, and Saweetie ’N Sour sauce. It’s “the same Sweet ’N Sour sauce you know and love, renamed in honor of the new meal.”
“McDonald’s and I run deep,” Saweetie declares in the press release, citing that her love for it stemmed from growing up in California and ran through to her time at college. “Depending on the mood I'm in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order. I like to keep things fresh—I know that's right.”
One of the interesting points of the meal is its “mix-and-match” nature. The singer loves to rework things and leave her own style in the finishing touches, and that’s reflected in the creative ways that fans can enjoy the meal.

From topping the Big Mac with some fries for an extra oomph, to making a new McNuggets sandwich with the buns, there’s bound to be something for everyone.
Saweetie is the latest musician, and the first female one, to have a celebrity menu collaboration since McDonald’s launched its Famous Orders program in 2020, featuring artists such as Travis Scott, J Balvin, and BTS.
