Working from home has become the norm, and, for many, Zoom fatigue is beginning to settle in.
It’s no secret that desk clutter affects productivity. This highlights the need for an efficient, clutter-free setup for a conducive work setting.
“When the pandemic hit, we spent an incredible amount of time with our end users to understand their needs and pain points in a work-from-home world,” said Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president of Logitech Video Collaboration, in the press release. “The result was Logi Dock.”
With an emphasis on ease of meeting via video, the docking station boasts three USB-C and two USB-A ports, a DisplayPort, HDMI, and a Kensington Security Slot. It can also handle Bluetooth connectivity.
There’s also the option to connect up to two monitors while charging your laptop. The Logi Dock does away with the “cluttered ‘rats nest’ of cabling,” and claims to enhance productivity.

To control the dock, the integrated Logi Tune app allows users to navigate and customize their experience. This isn’t required, however; the dock can function on its own.
After syncing with the user’s calendar in the app, the dock will provide a lighting cue as a reminder when the meeting is about to start. Then, intuitive buttons allow for easy joining, controlling the camera and microphone, and ending the call at the end.

Further enhancing a better video meeting experience is a noise-canceling speakerphone and an “expertly-tuned” speaker for when you’re not at work. It also syncs up to wireless headsets for more private conversations, especially if users were to bring it into office.
The Logi Dock is planned to be released later in the year in two colors; graphite and and white. Set at US$399, it will also be available globally. Until then, the Logi Tune app will see the calendar function being implemented this month.
