Move over, Apple and Samsung; there’s a new smartphone maker in town. And surprisingly, it isn’t another tech firm, but the much-beloved fast-food chain Wendy’s.
In an attempt to increase downloads of Wendy’s smartphone app, Wendy’s Canada has created a limited-edition smartphone, complete with a ‘Hey, Wendy’ digital assistant. Can Siri, Alexa, or Google even compare?
According to Muse, in a little bit of a letdown, the device itself isn’t specially manufactured by the brand. Rather, it’s a customized Samsung Galaxy A11. However, fans can still show off the unique voice assistant, which promises “some pretty clever comebacks.”

As per Wendy’s Canada, the assistant will also be able to set alarms, give directions, and tell you jokes — if she wants to.
Plus, the smartphone comes with all the bells and whistles of a high-end smartphone. There’s a GPS system, good battery life, and a camera “with more megapixels than the Baconator has bacon.”
Fans of the burger chain can win one of these quirky devices by downloading the mobile app and posting a screenshot of their favorite order online with the hashtags “#WendysPhone” and “#Contest.” 20 lucky customers will be picked each day, from now till October 17.
