LEGO Unveils 9,090-Piece ‘Titanic’ Set That Even Includes The Ship’s Interior

Blowing dollhouses and their rooms out of the water, LEGO’s latest architectural masterpiece pays “authentic” homage to the historic RMS Titanic, with much to wonder from its exterior and more to learn from its interior rooms.

Boasting 9,090 pieces and stretching over four feet long, the LEGO Titanic cruises among the fleet of its largest and longest sets yet. To bring it to life, LEGO recreated the ship based on blueprints from over 110 years ago. This intricate kit isn’t one for young builders.

However, don’t leave it up as a mere ornamental piece for too long—the replica is also designed to be disassembled, revealing features like the famous First-Class grand staircase, the D deck, and the Jacobean-style dining saloon.

In honor of its advanced nautical engineering and speed, the model includes a faithful nod to the engine room.

“Designing the LEGO Titanic with such a focus on immense detail and scale, but also accuracy, has allowed us to create one of the most challenging building experiences to date,” said Mike Psiaki, design master at the LEGO Group. “We know brick builders and ship enthusiasts of all ages will love building the set and displaying it in their homes.”
