Chanel Debuts Its Largest Baccarat Bottle Yet To Mark 100 Years Of No. 5 Perfume

The year 2021 bears a different meaning for everyone. For Chanel, it’s a special one—2021 marks 100 years since Gabrielle Chanel launched the global beauty and design icon, the Chanel No. 5 fragrance and bottle.
And, if you’re into numerology—the luxury house seems to be—each digit of the year adds up to five, the founder’s lucky number and the digit on the bottle’s label.
So to celebrate the 100th anniversary since Chanel No. 5 permeated the fragrance space, the brand has designed its largest Baccarat bottle—filled with 2021 ml of the perfume, no less.
The bottle itself is constructed entirely in Baccarat crystal and handled delicately as if to cut a diamond. Of course, it’s finished with the quintessential white label and faceted cabochon.

It’s worth noting that, since the centennial birthday deserves the very best, the fragrance is of Chanel’s “most precious” Parfum variety.
Created as a holiday special, the No. 5 Grand Extrait Baccarat 2021 ML will be available in an extremely limited quantity. Thankfully, there aren’t just five in the world—think 55.
Each custom bottle is numbered and hand-engraved to serve as a one-of-a-kind veritable piece of art.
