Wellbeing Platform Dishes Out Thousands Of Free Help Resources For Creatives
By Mikelle Leow, 22 Dec 2021
Even if creatives had been accustomed to remote work and collaboration before, the strange ways in which the world has been unfurling over the last couple of years would have thrown their balance off. Motivation and inspiration might have plateaued during this time, which has been termed ‘The Great Resignation’ for a reason.
Although things might be easier to cope with now, no one really teaches you how to possibly rebuild your life after a difficult period. A new personal growth and healing platform endeavors to lend a helping hand; FindCenter has an entire collection of resources on mental health and wellbeing for anyone identifying as a creative.
The selection features thousands of courses, books, articles, videos, podcasts, quotes, poems—and if you haven’t had personal time in a while, movie recommendations related to issues resonant with the creative life.
“It’s hard enough being human; we all deserve connection and support,” details Caroline Pincus, FindCenter’s Director of Content, in an email. “Because creatives spend so much of our time flying solo, often navigating work and life pretty much on our own, our hope is that the site will also provide community and connection, a touchpoint at any time of the day or night. And it’s entirely free.”
Topics are searchable and include everything from staying productive, achieving a flow state, and collaborating with other creatives to dealing with a lack of recognition, negative self-talk, parental disapproval, and financial instability.
