Cup Noodles Sends Odd ‘Ramen’ Mops To Slurp Up Messes At Basketball Tournament
By Mikelle Leow, 30 Dec 2021
As the main sponsor of the Basketball Winter Cup (ha!) in Japan, the maker of Cup Noodles has been carb-loading the court with props inspired by its products. Most peculiar of all, though, are these instant ramen-inspired mops that redefine clean eating.
Nissin, the inventor of instant ramen and the company that produces Cup Noodle (Cup Noodles in the US), brought out these ‘Cup Noodle Mops’ with yarns that resemble cooked noodles, plus giant versions of toppings like shrimp, egg, and mystery meat.
The mops were used to clean the floor in between matches so as to prevent basketball players from slipping.
