Dove has been a staunch advocate for real, unfiltered beauty, going where few in the industry have dared to go. The brand has not only stopped airbrushing photos for years but has also revamped its packaging before to celebrate diverse body shapes and sizes, among other things.
As the company stays faithful to its stance, it’s now turning to its own soaps to pay tribute to the unique bumps, marks, and contours of women. Because what better way to bare your convictions than through the product you’re most proud of?
The campaign, entitled #RealSoaps, showcases freckles, wrinkles, and stretch marks on Dove’s beloved soap bars, reflecting the intricacies that make women real. The sweet activation was produced by advertising agency MullenLowe SSP3 to uplift the Colombian market.

Dove details that its bar soaps always appear smooth and unblemished on shelves, but what people don’t know is that some of them come out of the factory with cracks and slits, which it stresses are part and parcel of “real beauty.”

In line with the campaign, Dove is encouraging women to bare their unretouched skin on social media with the #RealBeauty hashtag.
