By Alexa Heah, 21 Mar 2022
Fans of boxing will recall the infamous 1997 WBA Heavyweight Championship fight over two and a half decades ago, when legend Mike Tyson bit off Evander Holyfield’s ear.
Now, to ‘commemorate’ the unforgettable night, Tyson is launching a line of cannabis edibles “Mike Bites” in the shape of—you guessed it—ears with a missing chunk.
The offering will be part of the boxer’s cannabis company, Tyson 2.0, which has expanded it sales to over 100 locations in California over the past year.
According to CNN, Tyson has often touted the benefits of cannabis, even admitting to spending US$40,000 a month at his ranch in the state. His firm claims that in his prime, he had used cannabis “to relax his body and focus his mind.”
Life-long admirers can now get into the zone the same way he did, with Tyson himself tweeting “these ears actually taste good!”
‘Mike Bites’ will be sold at cannabis dispensaries in California, Massachusetts, and Nevada.
