Headspace is propelling mental states to, well, space. Specifically, a galaxy far, far away.
As part of Star Wars Day on May 4, the relaxation and mindfulness app has released a selection of quick breathing exercises set to transport your consciousness to the likes of Tatooine and help keep you in touch with your Force.
The Breathe With Star Wars collection features adorable animations of beloved characters like Yoda, Chewbacca, BB-8, and R2-D2, with their movements designed to guide your breathing. Yoda, for instance, wills an X-Wing to lift off the ground, prompting the viewer to breathe as the starship levitates. And BB-8 will help you find calm as it rolls across the screen.

For those who fall asleep to white noise, there are also soundscapes imagining an X-Wing Voyage, Tatooine Sunset, and Islands of Ahch-To. Because if the sound of waves crashing against the shore won’t cut it anymore, the busy whirs of spacecraft might.
Breathe With Star Wars is now available to users of Headspace. To help non-members find enlightenment, or the Light Side, the app is also offering a 30-day free trial as part of the program.
