Pantene Shows Self-Expression With Hair ‘Has No Gender’ In LGBT+ Campaign

“Whatever hair you dream of, we stand with you,” reads Pantene’s overarching theme for this campaign—that no matter your gender, everyone should be allowed to express their identity with their hair.
The #HairHasNoGender project was created in collaboration with the LGBTQ2+ community, of which over half of the people surveyed said they’d felt the need to disguise their identity at work.
In a moving film, 12 members of the LGBTQ2+ community spanning the globe shared their stories on what their hair means to their identity, and how support from coworkers allowed them to step out of their shells and express their true selves in the workplace.
As part of the initiative, Pantene collected actionable tips and ideas from LGBTQ2+ organizations and members of the community worldwide, so both organizations and allies can learn to develop safer and more inclusive workspaces.
