‘Gucci Town’ Comes Alive As Permanent Gathering Destination By The Fashion House

As one of the world’s leading brands, Gucci has been spearheading the charge into the metaverse. Having opened its ‘Vault’ concept store with Supergucci non-fungible tokens, the fashion house also recently debuted a gaming academy with a focus on mental health. 

Now, the label has created a permanent digital destination you can visit on the Roblox 3D world platform, named Gucci Town. 

The online community will let fans of the brand learn more about its history and heritage, the design philosophy and vision of creative director Alessandro Michele, and how to better express one’s individual self while connecting with others from all over the world.

As part of the destination’s design, fans will meet at a piazza, or open-air square, which was chosen due to it being a spot for people to meet and express themselves for centuries. 

In the surrounding area, you’ll be able to visit ‘Mini Game Heights’, ‘Vault Plaza’, ‘Creative Corner’, ‘Craftsmanship Court’, ‘Selfie Way’, ‘Power-up Place’, and the ‘Gucci Shop’—where customers can pick and purchase their favorite Gucci items to dress up their avatars. 

“Each place offers an immersive experience that translates to Alessandro Michele’s vision into a lived and played narrative,” said Gucci.
