Balenciaga Turns Crocs’ Iconic Shoes Into A Rubber Tote Bag That’ll Turn Heads

If you thought the Crocs craze was dying down, think again. From cereal collaborations to high-fashion ‘HardCrocs’ for goths, there’s no slowing down the iconic shoe brand’s takeover of the market.

Now, as part of its Fall 2022 campaign, fashion label Balenciaga has unveiled a new way to wear Crocs—as a bag. The Crocs Large Tote Bag (US$1,250), which is available in pink, green, or black, is entirely made out of the same rubber material used for the famed kicks. 

Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised, considering this comes from the brand that added heels to Crocs in the first place.

Featuring two top handles, the open-top tote comes with a perforated front and back—very much resembling the shoe—with a Balenciaga logo debossed on the front. 

If the bag’s a step too far for you, the luxury brand is offering a smaller model in the form of a phone holder. Retailing for US$775, the miniature pouch comes with a strap so you’ll never have to worry about rummaging through your purse for your phone ever again.
