MasterClass is hopping back into the pop culture-rich 1980s. Stranger Things have certainly happened.
Earlier this week, the platform began rolling out mysterious, glitchy teasers marked with the word “Confidential” and the MasterClass logo flipped upside down. The videos include clips of bloody objects, the Duffer Brothers, and even Vecna, the monster in the fourth season of Stranger Things.

As reported by CNET, the promos are for an upcoming class taught by Matt and Ross Duffer, the show’s creators, which will be released on June 30. The MasterClass website shares that the course will be focused on storytelling and screenwriting.
While the Duffer Brothers have amassed a wealth of experience in these specializations, it was the Netflix hit series that catapulted their names into the global spotlight. Notably, the course debuts just a day ahead of the release of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2.
Given that all three teasers reference the 80s-centered sci-fi show, it’s likely that Stranger Things will serve as the main muse of the Duffer Brothers’ syllabus. The lessons will join MasterClass’ 150-strong collection of courses at an all-in-one price of US$180 per year.
