Elegant TV Morphs Into A Sculpture When You’re Not Using It

With living spaces getting smaller and smaller, and television shows being entirely streamable these days, consumers may find it wiser to swap their television sets for their mobile phones. That’s why television makers like Samsung and LG are reinventing displays to double as space-saving modern art, keeping viewers engaged when their favorite programs are on, and enlivening interiors when they’re off.
Austrian luxury television brand C SEED has designed a version it believes could live in a museum. The avant-garde C SEED N1 folds and unfolds into four elegant sculptures, from a bench-like titanium centerpiece to its full, sharp TV form.
A minimalistic metal platform crafted from aerospace aluminum serves as its base, creating different looks of modern architectural sensibilities.
The 4K MicroLED screen itself has a special surface coating to showcase vibrant colors and the truest blacks, with minimal glare. There’s also an integrated sound system of twin 100-watt broadband speakers and HDR10+ support.
The screen is rotatable to 180 degrees, left and right, ensuring an optimal viewing experience without taking up too much space.
The C SEED N1 arrives in three sizes—165, 137, and 103 inches—with prices starting from US$190,000.
