In just a couple of days, Apple will open the doors to its newest retail store in London, located just a stone’s throw away from the Hyde Park in the Knightsbridge neighborhood.

Apple Brompton Road’s design draws inspiration from the surrounding flora, and aims to be a creativity-focused space where visitors can indulge their passions and expertise.

To mark its opening, the store will be the global launchpad of United Visions, a special augmented-reality experience featuring works from poet and painter William Blake, a fellow London native.

The series, which was created for the Getty Museum, will showcase Apple’s technology in an application that reimagines the artist’s most famed works, powered by the company’s M1 Ultra chip.

Locals can look forward to attending the Brompton Series, taking place every last Thursday of the month till October, where they can enjoy informative talks by wellness leaders, music workshops using Spatial Audio, and the free Today at Apple sessions to learn daily skills.

Of course, with most Apple stores, the technology giant has not forgotten to include nature into its design, with the store welcoming guests with 12 Sicilian discus trees lining the floor-to-ceiling windows, with seats at the base of each planter as the perfect meeting spot.

Furthermore, the store’s Forum will feature a first for an Apple outlet in the UK: a mirrored ceiling with depth-enhancing reflections that are sure to capture the imagination of visitors once they walk in.

To ensure construction was sustainable, the building’s terrazzo flooring comprises a first-of-its-kind material—plant-based bio resin—combined with a curved timber ceiling. The entire outlet will run on 100% renewable energy, just like the others in the region.

Thinking of doing some shopping? With a 200-person store team on standby to assist your every need, and a total of 45 languages spoken, you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for.
