Busch Light Shows How To Upcycle Cans Into A Functional, Homemade Guitar
By Nicole Rodrigues, 05 Aug 2022

Do you love beer so much you want to write a song about it? Well, now you can with Busch Light’s newest DIY hack, an upcycled guitar made from beer cans.
The beer company is giving fans a step-by-step guide on how to build their own guitar out of a 30-pack of its beer. The guitar was created with the help of Logan Elliot, who has made a name for himself by building instruments out of everyday objects.
The guitar—which looks to be a row of empty beer cans attached to some plywood in the shape of a guitar—is a fully-functional instrument that you can use to jam out with as you crack open a cold one with your friends.
The campaign is also a smart way of getting consumers to head out and purchase the beer needed for the DIY project, but it also connects the drinker to the brand in a whole new way with their own crafted instrument.

A handcrafted guitar is Busch Light’s ode to Midwest communities and the country music scene as it celebrates its entrance into the genre, as it states in a press release. The homemade guitar also marks the brand becoming a sponsor of the Country Music Association’s CMA Fest.
It is also extending support to other country music artists such as Ashland Craft, Matt Sell, and Jordan Davis in 2022.
Besides creating their own refreshingly cool instrument, fans can also have a chance to win a Busch Light guitar made and signed by country artist Jordan Davis by using the hashtag #BushCountry on social media from August 9 to August 11. More details can be found here.
