Kim Kardashian’s Shapewear Colors Come For Beats With Earbuds In Skin Tones

Kim Kardashian is seeking to change that as she brings her minimalist taste to the tech world, dressing Beats earbuds in a trio of skin tones reminiscent of the shapewear in her SKIMS line.
The skin-hued Beats Fit Pro earbuds are a reflection of Kardashian’s love for a neutral palette and her creative eye to match earbuds with your wardrobe or blend them seamlessly into your skin.

The minimal yet inclusive approach is a refreshing response to the pared-back design ethos of Apple, which owns Beats by Dre.
Kardashian, who claims to be a long-time fan of the audio-gear brand, told Vogue that she had previously contacted an artist to paint over her lilac Beats to suit her style more. Once she had gotten the earbuds back, she thought they looked so good she wanted to bring them directly to the company and get the brand’s thoughts on whether this was something Beats by Dre was willing to do.
It all worked out in her favor as Beats fulfilled Kardashian’s dreams for skin-toned earbuds and helped her turn them into a reality.
The result was a Beats x Kim line-up of three different shades in ‘Moon’, ‘Dune’, and ‘Earth’ for people of different skin tones—or aesthetic styles—to choose from.
Limited quantities of the earbuds are currently on sale on Apple’s website and at select Apple stores for US$199.99.
