Bonkers over bricks? Then there’s no doubt you’ll want to add the world’s largest LEGO store to your bucket list of places to visit. And to celebrate the toymaker’s 90th anniversary, the flagship store in Leicester Square, London, has just reopened after a lengthy renovation and expansion to claim its rightful title.

Within the refurbished location, which adds a further 300 sq m (3,300 sq ft) to bring its total floor space to a whopping 805 sq m (8,670 sq ft), fans will get to feast their eyes on incredible 3D LEGO constructions telling ‘Stories of Britain’, which celebrate the country’s storied heroes and history.

During your “tour,” you’ll get to snap a picture with William Shakespeare while waiting for the iconic Red London Bus, try to fit into the driver’s seat of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, strike a pose alongside Sherlock Holmes, or even sneak a peek at Harry Potter’s Gringotts.

The store will offer exclusive hands-on experiences that don’t exist anywhere else in the world, with the hopes of bringing out the inner child in everyone. This includes a personalization studio where customers can reimagine themselves in LEGO form—either as a portrait using the Mosaic Maker or a Minifigure from the Minifigure Factory.

Plus, there’s an interactive story zone featuring a walkthrough experience that tells the tale of LEGO’s rise as the world’s foremost brick maker over the past 90 years, and a Tree of Discovery that acts as the store’s centerpiece to highlight the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and leaving a positive impact on society and the planet.

Need we mention that visiting the world’s largest LEGO store will allow you access to the biggest assortment of LEGO sets in the world, including products you won’t find anywhere else?

“We are investing in upgrading LEGO stores around the world to give visitors really fun, unique, and memorable brand experiences. The refurbishment and expansion of our flagship London store will make it a must-visit destination for fans, young and old, living or traveling to London,” quips Natali Stojovic, Senior Vice President of LEGO Retail.
