The appeal of carrying your camera out has somewhat lost its luster with the age of smartphone photography. But there’s no need to let go of the old just yet; this nearly waiflike camera that looks like Lomography gear can travel around in your pocket.
Evidently inspired by Leica cameras, the Paper Shoot camera has a card-stock exterior with a thin digital camera in the middle. This minimalist tech candy only has one button, which serves as both the on/off and shutter button.
The charming gadget has a 16MP sensor and supports automatic exposure and white balance. It can also record 1080p videos of up to 10 seconds.
There’s a slot to hold microSD cards of up to 32GB of space, along with a Micro USB port to transfer content to your computer.
The features are barely much to shout about, but the camera harks back to simpler times. And maybe, just maybe, it could even help some wean off their overreliance on their smartphones.
