Rotten Tomatoes Launches Card Game For The Most Critical Of Movie Buffs
By Alexa Heah, 29 Sep 2022
What do you do when you want to find out if a movie is worth your time? Head over to Rotten Tomatoes, of course.
The site has been the go-to destination for those who love films and those who love to hate them.
Recently, the site teamed up with Cryptozoic to create a real-life card game that gets players to rank movies based on what they think their Tomatometer scores are, making it the perfect game for film buffs to flex their taste for the finer things in life.
Each round can accommodate up to 20 players, and the fast-paced gameplay is supposedly easy to learn. Apart from the usual movie cards, there are even Wild Cards included, some requiring all players to answer a question at the same time.
Think you’ve got enough movie knowledge to beat your friends? Rotten Tomatoes: The Card Game is available for pre-order at US$24.99, and is expected to begin shipping in Q1 2023.
