Havaianas Zips Up Its Summery Flip-Flops Into Boots For The Winter
By Nicole Rodrigues, 24 Oct 2022
Winter is approaching, and flip-flop company Havaianas is not about to consider its shoes a seasonal product. To do so, it is adapting to the colder months by creating a boot attachment.
The new boot-slash-slipper was created with Market to deliver modular footwear that can walk you from the sweltering summer months into the icy cold of winter.
At its usual state, the Zip Top Market Flip Flops may look like a regular pair of Havaianas, save for their slightly elevated sole, but they come with an attachment with a zip that turns it from a summer staple into a winter warmer.
Once zipped up and ready to go, the boot’s finished look is a black waterproof puffer attachment with a drawstring tie at its back to adjust how tight you want it at the ankles. It also has some of Market’s trademark yellow on the sole and trim of the shoe.
As the seasons change and the ice begins to melt, just loosen the top right off, and you’ll be ready to head from the ice banks to sandy beaches in an instant.
A pair of these two-in-one flip-flops is retailing for US$120 on the Havaianas online store.
