Sony Creates ‘Earth Blue’ Earbuds Constructed From Recycled Water Bottles

Sony’s Linkbuds S launched sometime this year, and now the brand is back with a revamped variation called ‘Earth Blue’ that is nearly quite as green for the environment as it could be.

 
What sets these earpieces apart is their cool and calm tone of blue—plus the fact that the buds and charging case incorporate recycled plastic water bottles.

The mix of plastic bottles and other materials has thus given the gadget a mesmerizing swirl of blue and white, ensuring that no two versions have the same pattern.
 
Earth Blue only weighs 0.15 ounces and comes with active noise cancellation and 20 hours of listening time. 

To celebrate the release of the new environmentally-friendly earbuds, Sony has pledged US$500,000 to Conservation International, an NGO that helps countries strive toward sustainability and global diversity.
