Not many would’ve seen this detour, but Maserati and Barbie have teamed up to unveil “an audacious collaboration” hoping to highlight both brands’ desire to break boundaries and champion uniqueness.

Plus, what better way to show off the aesthetics of two famed trendsetters than by allowing them to work together? The joint project, first expressed through a hot pink limited-edition Maserati Grecale, combines the automaker’s newest launch with Barbie’s showstopping lifestyle.

In “full Barbie fashion,” the glamor doesn’t just stop at the car’s façade, with every inch of the supercar covered in the iconic pink hue accented with fine acid-yellow details as a nod to the automaker’s racing history.

Adorned with the unmistakable Barbie logo, the exterior also comes with an iridescent topcoat that gives way to a rainbow effect when driving under the sun for that extra oomph. Its black interior comprises classy full-leather seats, carpets, and branded ‘B’ headrests.

According to the duo, the Barbie Maserati Grecale will only be available in two custom units. The US-exclusive version will see part of the proceeds donated towards the Barbie Dream Gap Project, a global initiative tackling gender inequality.

The second custom unit will only be unveiled sometime next year.
