The holidays will soon be upon us, meaning the parties are about to begin. But instead of wracking your brain trying to find new ways to keep you and your family entertained—or playing Monopoly for the thousandth time—Netflix is bringing something new to the get-together.

The streaming giant is introducing ‘Triviaverse’, an interactive quiz where participants can showcase their trivia prowess and compete against friends and family.

You might expect the quizzes to be centered around film and entertainment, seeing as Netflix has created them. But interestingly enough, it encompasses subjects from art, history, science, geography, and pop culture.

The game follows a quick-fire format divided into three rounds, with the simple goal of accumulating as many points as possible. As you go up in rank, you will be crowned with funny badges from ‘Bird Brain’, ‘Preschool Graduate’—to the coveted ‘Triviaverse God’ for the ultimate bragging rights.

And as it will work with every device that supports the streaming service, you can either use the keys on your remote or tap to choose the answers on the screen.

‘Triviaverse’ was released on November 8 and can be played solo or multiplayer. It is also available in nine different languages, including English, Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Spanish (Spain), Italian, Korean, and Japanese.

Netflix has previously tried its hand at interactive media with the releases of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, a choose-your-own-adventure movie, and Cat Burglar.

On the gaming front, the streaming giant has been slowly branching out into this sector with the release of its dedicated app, which hosts games inspired by its shows.
