Domino’s Pizza To Roll Out Fleet Of Electric Delivery Cars Nationwide
As more and more companies switch over to electric vehicles, the world’s largest pizza company is getting a slice of the technology.
Domino’s Pizza recently announced it will be “electrifying pizza delivery” by rolling out a new fleet of EVs across the United States, building upon its history of being the first to introduce pizza delivery back in 1960.
According to the firm, over 100 custom-branded 2023 Chevy Bolt cars will be arriving at corporate and franchise stores this month, with another 700 vehicles scheduled to roll out in the coming months.
To give fans a better idea of how the country’s largest electric pizza delivery fleet will be spread out, Domino’s Pizza has even created an interactive map displaying how many Chevy Bolt EVs will be traversing each state.

“We’ve made a commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, and this is one way we can begin reducing our environmental impact, one delivery at a time,” explains Russell Weiner, Domino’s Chief Executive Officer.
Apart from being eco-friendly, these EVs will provide a whole host of other benefits to deliverymen, including enough battery life to last for days of deliveries, zero tailpipe emissions, better safety features, and lower maintenance costs.
In addition, by providing the Chevy Bolt EVs, the company hopes it can draw in new delivery drivers who don’t have a car of their own, or are wary of rising gas prices.
Maybe the next time you order a pizza from Domino’s, it’ll show up at your door from a more sustainable, zero-emissions vehicle.
