iPhone Cameras & SIM Cards Become Wrist Candy, Repurposed To Be Worn As Jewelry
By Alexa Heah, 08 Dec 2022
Quirky designer Gab Bois, known for transforming everyday essentials into chic must-haves, has teamed up with jewelry brand Miansai for a collection of gold and silver pieces that’ll allow you to show off your love for technology.
The collection comprises rings, bracelets, and necklaces made from repurposed iPhone parts, including genuine SIM cards and smartphone cameras.
As Hypebeast notes, this isn’t the first time Gab Bois has turned used technology into something covetable, having previously created a MacBook, a shutter for the iPhone, and a top made out of earphones.
There’s no doubt any piece from this unique jewelry collection will stand out, and all of them don’t skimp on luxury either, having been crafted from 14-karat gold or sterling silver.
Pick from a SIM card ring, bracelet, and necklace, or stud earrings, drop earrings, rings, and necklaces made from single and dual cameras found on the back of your Apple device.
Head here to check out all of the pieces, currently retailing from US$195 to US$3,500.
