Samsung Dishes Out Smart Oven That Livestreams Your Food So It Won’t Burn

Afraid of burning your food while you’re in another room? Well, fear no more with Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI Oven that lets you directly stream your food onto your phone, so you can keep an eye on it while you finish catching up on the latest series in the living room.

The new feature is hosted by an AI camera embedded into the oven and connects to the accompanying SmartThings app, which lets users look at their food and even remote-control the cooking device from afar.

On top of this, if you’d like an audience to watch your food, you can stream it directly to Twitch. And as odd as that sounds, there’s undoubtedly a niche set of people out there who would gladly watch your casserole bake.
 
Another feature of the Bespoke AI Oven is that it is connected to Samsung Health and can analyze your diet goals based on your ingredients. So, if you’re worried that you might not stick to your plan of losing weight this New Year, your oven might help keep you on track instead.
 
In terms of cooking, you can use it to sous vide, air fry, and steam your food.
 
The oven will be available in Europe first before heading to North America in the summer of this year.
