Toblerone Carries Its Angles Into Its First Easter Egg, The ‘Edgy Egg’

Easter might be the one time of the year when confectioners decide to pull out all the stops to try and grab your attention in the candy aisle. And after years of sitting on the sidelines not participating in the holiday, Toblerone is finally stepping out in its fanciest Easter best.
In that sense, the company is reimagining the iconic pyramid-shaped treat into something a little more… circular. The company’s first Easter offering, ‘The Edgy Egg’, is Toblerone’s interpretation of the classic chocolate egg without straying too far from the brand’s image.
The snack is now taking on an oval form, a shape we’ve never seen Toblerone in before. However, it stays true to its roots by creating the traditional egg shape out of its iconic prisms.
Fans are then presented with an angular egg that could look like a centerpiece on the dinner table come Easter Sunday.
The chocolate is wrapped in foil and placed inside a box featuring Easter favorites such as bunnies, butterflies, bees, and birds.
Unfortunately for all the Toblerone fans, this one’s just for the UK chocolate lovers as the egg is a Tesco exclusive. If you’re living in the UK, the Edgy Egg will retail for £12 for 298g, or US$14.55 for 10.5 ounces, for those across the pond.
