If you’re looking for a bit of both, then say hello to these charming stuffed animals who are here to restore balance in the world—or, rather, your sitting position.
Much more helpful than your cat crawling across your keyboard, these furry friends from Japan, named ‘Funbaruzu’, are anatomically designed to set slouchers’ postures upright while they’re at work. The animals each have a solid “healthy heart” that supports their human companion’s torso, propping it up without any effort needed.

You can choose between a sloth, a bear, a rabbit, and an orangutan. They even have names and personalities.
Nosly the sloth is a chill, unbothered creature who’s slow to pranks. Brownie the bear apparently likes planning picnics and bakes a solid chocolate cake, living up to its name. Hop the rabbit is a pretty sheltered, carrot-loving character who can’t sleep without resting on her owner’s belly. And Ootan the orangutan is the cheekiest of the lot and loves pulling said pranks on his sloth pal.
The company behind Funbaruzu, Dreams Co Ltd, has plans to roll out medium and small versions of the animals, inviting you to take more than one pet to work.
