AI-Generated Cars Embodying ‘Avengers’ Reveal Intricacies Of Vehicle Design

Previously, Moss and Fog tapped on artificial intelligence art generator Midjourney to reimagine what luxury cars would look like if they were designed by famed architects of the past and present.

Now, in a new experiment, car enthusiasts at Carcover.com have used the same technology to dream up more experimental vehicle designs, but this time inspired by superheroes from Marvel’s Avengers franchise.

After analyzing the images, a spokesperson says that a detailed look at AI-generated cars reveal the intricacies of vehicle design. For example, War Machine having three wheels on the right and only two on the left would not work in real life.

Others, such as cars that are too low, wouldn’t work on actual roads because they would incur problems at speed bumps or steep driveways. While some of the renderings would be unrealistic, it’s still fun to see how Captain America’s shield is used as a wheel or the Falcon as a plane.

Could we ever see cars similar to these pictures on the roads of the future? Possibly, the publication noted, explaining that in terms of automotive technology, such creations could be created by combining AI and engineering, but “with varying levels of difficulty.”

“This could be an interesting concept to explore and see exactly what can be achieved regarding unique vehicle designs,” the spokesperson summed up. Take a look at more of what Midjourney came up with.
