Porsche’s E-Bike Brings The Iconic 911 To Life On Two Wheels
By Nicole Rodrigues, 23 Mar 2023
Porsche’s iconic 911 serves as an inspiration for its latest two-wheel offering, the eBike Cross.
Porsche Design created the bicycle with Rotwild, a German mountain bike company. The sport bike emulates the supercar’s design and places the Porsche driving experience onto two wheels.
The bike’s frame is crafted out of carbon fiber, and it houses full suspension, custom-designed by Studio F.A. Its wheels are from bicycle accessories brand Crankbrothers and delivers stability as one takes to the streets.
Under the ‘hood’, you’ll find a SHIMANO EP8 motor that delivers up to 85Nm of torque and is complemented by the MAGURA MT Trail disc brakes for optimal safety. In addition, this eBike offers three modes—TRAIL, BOOST, and ECO— each with its unique range capabilities of 50, 75, and 100 kilometers, respectively (or 31, 47, and 62 miles), enabling you to explore new terrains and conquer any challenge in an eco-friendly style.
The eBike Cross can be found on Porsche Design’s website for €8,900 (US$9,607.55).
